In a global survey 2011 conducted by Center for Work-Life policy, 87% of women and 74% of men surveyed wanted flexible job options. This overwhelming response for flexible working is no more a wish or a nice to have benefit. The change in society, family structure, work environment, long working and travel hours are pushing the need for a life-work integrated careers and hence the need for flexible working.
Let’s join together in taking THE FLEXIBILITY PLEDGE to create awareness for the need to institutionalise flexible working. Thank you for your support.
I support the instituting of Flexible working methods to enable women professionals to enjoy sustainable careers. I believe in the right of every woman professional to request flexibility at her workplace.
